Who operates the game

Survivle is a game operated by Wetware Ltd. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support@wetware.ai.

Information used

• A random device identifier, trail name, game saves and preferences stored on your device.
• Daily-run submissions including your public trail name, selected equipment, action log, result and game statistics. The random device identifier is hashed before it is stored in the leaderboard database.
• Product analytics from PostHog, such as pages visited, interactions, device and browser details, generated identifiers and session information. Feedback you choose to submit is also sent to PostHog.
• IP addresses used temporarily for rate limiting, security and ordinary infrastructure logs.

Please do not include personal information in a trail name or feedback message.

Why the information is used

Information is used to save your game, verify and publish Daily results, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, understand how the game is used, fix problems and consider player feedback. The legal basis for operating and securing the game is legitimate interests. Analytics storage or tracking may also require your consent under the law that applies where you live.

Sharing

Public Daily results include your trail name and game result. Service providers that host the website, database and analytics may process information on Survivle's behalf. PostHog processes analytics and feedback. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or needed to protect the service.

Storage and retention

Local game data remains on your device until it is cleared. Daily-run records are retained while leaderboard and shared-result features operate. Analytics and feedback are retained according to the configured PostHog retention settings and for no longer than needed for product improvement. Infrastructure logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations.

International processing

Some service providers may process information outside the UK or European Economic Area. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards should be used for those transfers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Contact the address above to make a request. UK users can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

This policy may be updated when the game or its service providers change. The date above shows the latest version.
